Biography
 
Art has always been my love, my hobby, my education and, for the past 12 years, my career. Nature and wildlife are also extremely important to me and I spent much of my waking hours outdoors drawing, painting or simply observing the flora and fauna. When world-wide travel became an integral part of my life, I was able to incorporate all three of my passions into photography ... a new art medium for me. It was a natural progression and my plan was to take photography somewhere in-between fine arts and the technical, which usually defines photography. Style is always a work in progress.   • Career as Advertising Artist and Art Director
  • Migrated to Sarasota Florida in 1987
  • Avid environmentalist combining passion of Photography with love of wildlife
  • Avid traveler & Travel Photographer
  • Teacher/Lecturer at New College in Sarasota and Venice Audubon Center, amoung others
  • Winner of several local, regional and national competitions
